About

A house of design, rooted in craft

Maison Moghadam

Maison Moghadam is Monaco's destination for bespoke interiors — a house where craftsmanship, legacy, and fearless self-expression meet. With over seventy years of heritage, we unite design, production, and service under one roof, from couture curtains made in our Monaco atelier to custom rugs woven in our workshops in India and Nepal, and bespoke furniture crafted in Portugal.

Home to Europe's largest selection of fabrics and wallcoverings — and Monaco's exclusive partner of Arte Walls — Maison Moghadam is where true personalisation is not a promise, but a process. Every fabric, every texture, every detail, tailored precisely to your vision.

A Home Is
A Self-Portrait

A home is the most personal thing you will ever create. It holds your stories, your memories, your way of moving through the world — and it should look like none but your own.

At Maison Moghadam, we believe the finest interiors are not designed to impress, but to reveal. To mix colour with conviction, to layer fabric with pattern, to let each room speak in its own voice. This is where craft meets character, and where every detail is a celebration of who you are.

Kamyar Moghadam

"Your interior is a reflection of the way you live, the places you go and the people you meet."

Trained from an early age in the art of Persian carpets by his father — himself a renowned expert — Kamyar Moghadam refined his creative instincts at Parsons School of Design in New York, where heritage met contemporary vision.

Known as the enfant terrible of interior design, Kamyar has a rare gift: the ability to bring daring colour, unexpected pattern, and rare materials into compositions that feel inevitable. Inspired by constant travel and guided by craftsmanship developed in his own ateliers, he transforms memory and imagination into interiors that tell a single story — yours.

Where It All Began

Serving Royalty
Since 1962

Maison Moghadam began with a serendipitous meeting between Alexander Moghadam and Princess Grace of Monaco. At her personal invitation, Alexander left a successful carpet empire of five stores in Germany to bring his expertise to the Riviera — opening the legendary Galerie Moghadam in Monte-Carlo, inaugurated in the Princess's presence and named Official Supplier to the Princely Palace.

For more than six decades since, Maison Moghadam has held the quiet trust of a rarefied clientele — royals, collectors, and design connoisseurs — who come to us for what cannot be found elsewhere.
